Choral Evensong for Pride, with the Choristers of St John the Divine and friends from the Christ Church Cathedral Choir.
7pm, Sunday July 7th, St John the Divine, 1611 Quadra St
We offer the traditional choral evening service at the conclusion of Pride Week, celebrating and affirming all sexual orientations and gender identities, and mindful of the struggles that have been and are still being faced to bring inclusion and equality to Queer folk everywhere.
Music will include works by Kerry Andrew, Char Hodgkins, David Stratkauskas, Stuart Beatch, and Benjamin Britten.
Kate Newman will give the address.
No matter how you identify, or how you understand the Divine, you are very welcome.
