Our Parish Eucharist is the main service where our community gathers each week. Whilst firmly rooted in the Canadian Anglican Tradition we also use a variety of prayers from other parts of the Anglican world. We have a variety of music, including settings of the Eucharist, hymns, and organ pieces, from contemporary and ancient sources.

We hear readings from the Hebrew Scriptures, the Christian Scriptures, and the Gospels at the heart of our gathering and are offered a reflection on those Scriptures by, usually, a member of our parish Ministry team. As we share bread and wine, all are invited to be a part of that sharing and all are welcomed at the Table.

Following pandemic we are seeking to regain some comfort in meeting together - if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask and continuing with social distancing, that's fine. If you feel you would prefer to be unmasked and closer to others, that's fine also.

We are an affirming and inclusive parish - all are welcome to join us from any background, race, culture, gender, or sexual identity. The sacraments, including Baptism, Eucharist, and Marriage are offered freely to all - Christ welcomes you, and so do we.

You are welcome to join Sunday worship in person or via a livestream on Facebook or on our website. You may also wish to request access to the Zoom meeting for worship which leads into a discussion and online coffee hour - please contact the office to arrange this.

Please note, as we continue are our Zoom-Livestream Hybrid format, there will be times when those of us in the Church building will not see contributors such as intercessors, readers, or even preachers – though we will be able to hear them through our sound system.

To access the livestream on our website, click on the Livestreams button above.

After the service, we'll be gathering on Zoom for our virtual coffee hour.

St John's is an affirming, and welcoming, community - please do join us.
