Advent Hope - Day 25

Reflection

Happy Christmas! As we end our reflections for this season we come to the greatest reason for hope that is held within the Christian tradition - Emmanuel, God is with us. Not God watching over us, not God leading us, not God directing us, nor God controlling the events of our lives or our world - but God with is. The God who is, as I say at the beginning of most of our services here, within us, between us, around us. The Divine who is the Word made flesh who dwells with us.
