A guest post from Kate Newman
Capillary branches of the Oak Tree
like mazes against the sky,
would form a full heart against the blue,
except that the lower left lines of the heart
(look closely at the picture and see)
are broken.
But are they broken or just open?
Perhaps a broken heart,
which only few innocent souls on the earth
have not experienced for various reasons like -
losing one who you loved deeply or
witnessing the loss of an innocent life,
and the decline of the Oak Meadows,
- is really an open heart.
Because sometimes
when a heart is broken,
it is also opened.
At least this is what
the branches of the oak tree
seem to be revealing to the sky.
