This meeting was not held due to COVID-19 protocols and the Bishop's directive to have a "meeting-free" Lent.
However, the materials attached here were distributed amount PC members.
Please see the attached summary page of how our finances look after just 2 months of 2020.
The picture is pretty good, although no effects of COVID-19 had been felt by then. One concern is that as attendance drops (perhaps even to zero for a time), envelope donations will obviously suffer.
The good news is that envelope donations are only planned to be 20% of our total donations in 2020, and this would be a great chance to encourage all our parishioners to give on-line if they can.
Carol-Ann and I have discussed how this might be achieved, and we think if anyone who wished to start (or change) their debit, credit or share donations, they could send her or I an e-mail which would start the process, which can be completed on line in many cases.
If anyone on PC has any questions on this summary, please let the teasurer know by e-mail or phone. The Finance Committee will be issuing its usual 31st March financial update around mid-April.
