Daily Prayers for Tuesday, November 16, 2021

Our Community invites you to share in our online daily prayer, live at noon on our St John the Divine Anglican Church Facebook Page with Alastair.

Our Order today is taken from Jim Cotter's Prayer in the Day, a book of Mysteries, and because it is copyright there's isn't a downloadable version below - but an invitation to allow the meditative nature of the service to wash over us as we take this time in the day to pause and to pray. 

Part of the order for each day is to reflect on a 'mystery from Scripture' - today we will be reflecting on what Jim call's one of the 'Mysteries of the Names of Jesus' - Pain Bearer, which refers to the book of Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5 - a link to which, with multiple translations, can be found here
