Daily Prayers for Tuesday, August 25, 2020

Today's Daily Prayer will be live at noon with Alastair on the St John the Divine Facebook Page. The order is taken from the late Jim Cotter's book Prayer in the Day which, as it is still in copyright, isn't available for download, instead please enjoy the listening and praying as we are led in our reflections for today.

Jim's prayers include his own translation of part of Psalm 119 and a brief reflection on a Biblical idea. Tuesdays offer us a short reflection on 'Mysteries of the names of Jesus' and today's thought is based on words from the Song of Solomon chapter 2 (link here) - Jesus as liberating lover.
