For those of you who know me at all, you will know that no Christmas can go by without the Muppet Christmas Carol being watched! So here's a snippet of the joyful adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic - one of my favourite parts with the ghost of Christmas Present.
So how does this get to be in our God of Small Things reflections? Well, apart from that these have morphed into 'a few of my favourite things' in the absence of very many contributions coming my way (thank you to those others who offered a short thought in this series!) I do actually believe that music, humour, lightness, love, and even Muppets can touch us in such a way as to glimpse something of the God who is bound up in the very stuff of life - in the good and bad, joyful and sorrowful, bright and shade!
Enjoy!
