8am Holy Communion
10am Parish Eucharist with Liturgy of the Palms
Join us as we begin this Sacred season of Holy Week, marking Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem in the last days before his death, when he was greeted by crowds who cheered and covered the road ahead of him with their cloaks and with palm branches.
7pm Maundy Thursday Liturgy
Share in the remembering the first Holy Communion at the Last Supper. The liturgy on this most holy night includes the ceremonial washing of volunteer's feet, and ends with the powerful removal of decoration from the church and stripping of the altars.
The service is preceded by a Maundy Thursday Supper at 5.30pm (pre-booking for the supper is required).
10am Liturgy of the Cross
On this most solemn of days, a stark liturgy in a church, with a sung version of the Passion according to John, and the Adoration of the Cross
12pm - 3pm The Three Hours
A mainly silent observance of the last three hours of Jesus' life, with a prayer, poem, and Bible reading on one of the Seven last words every 25 minutes
8am Holy Communion
A quieter, said service celebrating the Resurrection
10am Easter Morning Eucharist
A festive celebration of the Resurrection, with Holy Communion, sermon, baptism, choir, and refreshments to follow
Note there is no Choral Evensong on Easter Day
