Join us in worship as we celebrate the Eucharist on the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord.
We’re very excited to welcome a special guest preacher to our community this Sunday, the Revd Dr Ayla Lepine who will be joining us to celebrate the Festival of the Transfiguration, August 6th, at 10am.
Ayla has a long association with St John’s having attended here in her youth, she was Baptized and Confirmed here, and was a member of the choir. She moved to the UK to study, and after gaining a Ph.d in Art History, was ordained in the Church of England, she currently serves as Associate Rector at St James’ Piccadilly in the Diocese of London. She is a respected writer, consultant, and lecturer on Art and Spirituality, along with Sacred Music, with connections to King’s College London, and Sarum College, as well as other educational institutions.
We will be gathering in-person (you are welcome to use masks), and on Zoom with the service streamed from St. John's. The service will also be livestreamed and will be available to watch below, or by clicking on the Livestreams button above.
