Saturday March 22nd at 7:30pm, pianist Kay Kuang and soprano Isolde Welby present Liebe & Lieder (Love and Songs), a collection of 19th-century German repertoire rich with adventure, evil spirits, the power of the natural world, and love both gained and lost. Isolde and Kay are both recent undergraduates of UVic’s music program, and studied together at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria. This concert was conceived out of mutual admiration and a desire to explore and share this intensely expressive music. Join us at St. John the Divine for an evening of love and song.
