Reflection

This song is one of my favourites, not just because it's a great, well crafted rock song, but because it is, in essence, a prayer. Prayer is one of the great themes of Advent, an opportunity to explore what prayer means to us, and to explore new ways of praying. We might pray in silence, with poetry, reflecting on Visual Art, with set liturgy, with dance, with music, the possibilities are endless, Advent invites us into a place of reflection about what prayer means to us, and ways in which we may connect with the Divine - whether it is through the Eucharist, or a good rock song.
